Brewing loose leaf tea is simple, grounding, and deeply rewarding.
No tea bags. No rush. Just herbs, water, and intention.
Here’s how to make the perfect cup.
• 1 tablespoon loose leaf herbal tea
• 8–12 oz hot water
• French press, tea infuser, or strainer
• Mug
• Optional: honey or lemon
Bring water to a gentle boil, then let it sit for 30 seconds.
Herbal blends prefer hot water — about 200–212°F.
Add 1 tablespoon of loose leaf tea to your French press or infuser.
(For stronger flavor, use slightly more. For lighter flavor, use slightly less.)
Pour hot water over the herbs.
Let steep for:
5–7 minutes for light herbal blends
8–10 minutes for deeper root or floral blends
Longer steep = deeper flavor + stronger herbal infusion.
Press down the French press slowly or strain into your favorite mug.
Take a breath.
Sip slowly.
This is your ritual.
• Herbal tea does not turn bitter easily — longer steeping is okay
• Cover your mug while steeping to keep essential oils in
• Many blends can be re-steeped once
• For iced tea, brew double strength and pour over ice
Tea is more than hydration.
It is pause.
It is grounding.
It is daily self-connection.
Light a candle. Step outside. Journal. Or simply sit.
You don’t need a complicated routine.
